I would never opt for McD's over Starbucks for so many reasons. Where do I even start? For one, Starbucks pays a fair wage, they give their employees benefits, they give back to the environment, they support artists in a way that is new and refreshing and long overdue in the world of entertainment, they offer their grinds up for local recycling, they offer healthy fresh fruits and produce, they utilize local bakeries. And then.....we have McD's. And they pretty much do the exact opposite of all of the above. I don't care if McD's invents a drug to cure cancer - they aren't getting my money.

And for the record, we did visit the mcd's headquarters last summer and tried some of these new coffee drinks and they sucked ass. And I'm not even a coffee snob! LOL

Wow - seems I touched a nerve! I've never been called disgusting and judgemental before, let alone by a stranger online. ;) I was actually trying to be thought-provoking and opinionated, I guess I missed the mark.

You're right on one account though, only time can tell how things will work out. Since I have no Starbucks out here in the cornfields, but I do have a McDonalds I'd be happy if it actually does turn out to be good. I'm just not holding my breath. ;) And as I said before, I probably am a coffee snob. LOL
